JRF Computing has a unique view on eCommerce.

Websites are fine for there intended purpose, but in most cases most ecommerce sites also have a bricks and mortar shop and but the two do not go together, with JRFComputing's solution the website and the inhouse system are one and the same. The advantages of this are plain to see - no long and complicated logging on to the website to change a product but standard friendly screen with all the information in one place. Tips can be introduced on each field to guide users where necessary.

Orders can be taken in-house which will be saved back to the web database, products can be entered by item number, bar-code scan or by choosing from the available list. Another of the significant advantages is that All stock can be placed on the database BUT it all doesn't have to appear on the web, allowing it to sold in store only. Ideal for breakable items that are not transportable. Please notice the salesman MUST entered so commission calculations for sales can be entered. Discount can be entered - if applicable, Delivery is also catered for, Discount Coupons can also be applied. Customer entrry with any additional information can then be entered. Payment can then be taken. (The system can link to any PC based card entry software i.e. PayPoint's Virtual till etc.)

The system can cope with stock handling from any number of bricks and mortar branchs as well as handling container deliveries. Mass product adjustment and analysis is available. Business are now dependant on their computer system but not all are properly looked after or have worked successfully for so long that they have been forgotten about! Times and technology have changed but some applications get left in the past, and only get noticed when they are not there.

To help this client we have replaced the original hard disks in his computers with SD memory cards as hard disks of the right quality are now impossible to obtain.

Showing Time is a family run business that manufactures and sells made-to measure British Riding clothing. Owner, Kate Rust approached us to help them create an ecommerce website to display their products and services in a professional and stylish manner.
